Launched in advance of the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, Climate Counts asks: on Earth Day or any day are global media companies credible on climate change? Does the explosion of environmental coverage and green programming around Earth Day reflect the actual efforts that the media companies themselves are making to address climate change? Since 2007, Climate Counts has been scoring big media companies (along with nearly 150 other global companies) on their climate actions, and scores are remarkably low for the sector.
