PCI Media Impact, a non-profit organization specializing in the use of Entertainment Education to promote social change, premiers their Ecuadorian serial drama, "Toque Magico (Magic Touch)", every Wednesday on both YouTube and Facebook.   Magic Touch was first broadcast in 2008 to promote youth awareness of gender equality and assist in the cultural elimination of inequity and prevention of violence against women. Chapter XI: Power to the witches Educational topic: Women empowerment The witches win first place in the ghost hunters tournament!!! This makes the sorcerers, who came in second, very frustrated. As for Magdalena, she won the tournament for dragon taming as a pregnant witch… double triumph. Nevertheless, something is wrong with her baby and she doesn’t have anyone’s support.

  PCI Media Impact, a non-profit organization specializing in the use of Entertainment Education to promote social change, premiers their Ecuadorian serial drama, "Toque Magico (Magic Touch)", every Wednesday on both YouTube and Facebook.   Magic Touch was first broadcast in 2008 to promote youth awareness of gender equality and assist in the cultural elimination of inequity and prevention of violence against women.   Chapter X: The kettle is uncovered Educational topic: Discrimination of gender and for a pregnancy in the school   Barbi is punished by her father once he discovers that she was spending time alone with a sorcerer-friend.  Felipe, her younger brother who blackmails her in return for his silence, does not receive any sanctions because -according to Barbi’s father – “sorcerers can do whatever they want.” The witches have to deal with many injustices, and even worse, there are young witches who are not married and pregnant. They are “easy” and accused of putting the prestige of where they study at risk. Under this premise, Mister Master NN attempts to expel Magdalena from the magic school.

Magdalena receives Micala’s support in regards to her unexpected teen pregnancy. Virgi jumps like a toad to tell others secrets, but safely guards her own.  Watch it here

While the sorcerers agree that “a real sorcerer does not use that note,” the witches think it inexcusable for a witch to carry a hood in her backpack. A hooded sexual relation prevents unplanned pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases and emotional ailments. Reinaldo offers Magdalena a handful of hermetics to end her pregnancy.
