On October 12, representatives from 21st Century Fox and the Give a Note Foundation presented a grant to Castle Creek Elementary School in Orlando, Florida, as part of the 21st Century Fox Give a Note Grants initiative. The grant will support the music education program at the school, which has struggled for years to find adequate funding.

"This grant will enable us to show the heartening benefits of investing in music education by sharing exciting performances of our students around our City Beautiful," said Castle Creek Elementary music director Earl Vennum. "In addition, our students will be able to see high school and professional performances, inspiring them to a finer level of artistic accomplishment."

21st Century Fox and the Give a Note Foundation announced the grant program in March to commemorate the end of FOX's groundbreaking musical television series Glee, which sparked renewed interest and participation in school music programs during its six-season run. The grants will support 16 under-funded music programs at schools across the United States.

21st Century Fox and the Give a Note Foundation have organized grant presentation ceremonies at each of the schools, celebrating the teachers and staff that make the music programs possible and giving the students the chance to showcase their talents.
