July 25, 2016 /3BL Media/ - Corporate sustainability leaders might have one of the most exciting jobs in business today, and according to new research by the National Association for Environmental Management (NAEM), these professionals also have a skill set as unique as their role.

Find out if you have what it takes, and hear from insiders who have the keys to success during a special webinar presentation on Aug. 17 at 1:00 p.m., co-hosted by NAEM and 3BL Media.

The webinar, titled “What it Takes to Succeed in a Corporate Sustainability Career”, will reveal:

  • The combination of skills and attributes that make certain professionals well-suited to a career in this field
  • What you can do to develop your leadership capacity
  • The mindset that sustainability professionals bring to their roles
  • How to cultivate mission-driven organizations and strategic partnerships across boundaries
  • The decisions and career journey one emerging sustainability leader took to the top

NAEM Executive Director Carol Singer Neuvelt said the webinar is part of the association’s commitment to developing the next generation of EHS&S leaders.

“As agents of change, EHS&S professionals are responsible for collaborating across functions to advance their programs,” she said. “We hope those who join this webinar will gain some insight into that role, as well as the skills they’ll need to chart a path to leadership.”

Dave Armon, CMO at 3BL Media will moderate the webinar.

"The role of sustainability is being elevated to the C-suite in many organizations. We look forward to discussing the progression of sustainability as a career during our webcast with NAEM," Mr. Armon said.
