Aflac Named Company of the Year for Corporate Social Responsibility

Columbus, Ga., March 30, 2017 — Aflac, the leader in voluntary insurance sales at the worksite in the United States, was honored by PR News Magazine as the 2017 Company of the Year at the PR News CSR Awards held in Washington, D.C., on March 22. The company received the award in the “Corporation, less than 25,000 employees” category. Through this award, Aflac was acknowledged for its leadership in areas such as ethics, governance, workforce diversity, philanthropy and environmental sustainability.
