Art Therapy Today

On October 4, 2016, the American Art Therapy Association was represented at a briefing in the Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, DC.  Organized by the American Psychological Association in cooperation with the Congressional Mental Health Caucus, “Future Directions in Mental Health Research: the View from Psychological Science,” was co-sponsored by the AATA and other member organizations of the APA’s Mental Health Liaison Group.  The event coincided with Mental Illness Awareness Week.
