Announcing 2017 Global Pro Bono State of the Practice Benchmarking Survey, Released by PYXERA Global

WASHINGTON, November 1, 2017 /3BL Media/ - Following the closing of Pro Bono Week 2017 (#celebrateprobono), PYXERA Global is pleased to announce the release of the 7th Global Pro Bono State of the Practice Benchmarking Survey, co-authored by Key Client Manager, Husna Ali-Khan and Program Coordinator, Marieka Walsh. The purpose of this survey is to help assess the state of the rapidly evolving Global Pro Bono practice across participating companies. Since PYXERA Global’s first report in 2010, Global Pro Bono has only continued to grow both in terms of program size and geographic reach as companies more companies recognize the ability to make social impacts and improve their own employees’ leadership skills.  

What’s Inside 
In 7th Global Pro Bono State of the Practice Benchmarking Survey, readers can expect to discover the latest trends in growth of the Global Pro Bono, how companies are approaching impact measurement, and the role that partnership plays. The report covers programs from 2016 with responses from the following 21 companies: JPMorgan Chase, SAP SE, Mars Incorporated, Credit Suisse, GSK, The Dow Chemical Company, “La Caixa” Banking Foundation, Merck & Co., Inc. 3M, FedEx, Citigroup, BD, Salesforce.org, Intel Corporation, Medtronic, Cigna, IBM, EY, Sidley Austin, LLP, Astellas Pharma. Inc., and House Foods Group, Inc.  

Some of the major findings in the survey include:  

  • The growing importance of impact measurement; 
  • The employee selection process for programs; 
  • Organizational factors most essential for success; and  
  • The approaches of some of the most successful (and cost effective) programs that incorporate the partnership of implementing partners.  

In addition to the data findings, readers will gain insight into the design and thought processes behind Global Pro Bono programs as they are guided through critical questions aimed at building a program that best fits an organization’s needs.
