BJ’s Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Adopt-A-School Program with $50,000 in Available Grants
Elementary Schools to Share Where Students See Themselves in 20 Years
May 6, 2015 /3BL Media/ - BJ’s Wholesale Club is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Adopt-A-School program by encouraging public elementary schools to apply for funding to help students thrive. The grant application asks students to share where they see themselves in 20 years and how BJ’s school support will help get them there. Five schools across BJ’s 15-state footprint will each receive a $10,000 grant.

All of BJ’s past and current Adopt-A-School partners are eligible to apply as well as any public elementary school located within 15 miles of a BJ’s Club. Applications will be judged on the following criteria: creativity, student involvement, impact of grant, demonstrated need, and volunteer opportunities for the local BJ’s Club. The deadline for submitting an application is June 1, 2015.
Interested schools can visit www.bjs.com/school to register for eligibility and access the application. Grant winners will be notified by mid-August.
