Campaign: Hunger Relief

BJ’s Wholesale Club recently announced that its Feeding Communities program achieved a major giving milestone as 30 million pounds of nutritious food has been donated to local Feeding America® food banks since its launch in November 2011. The 30 million pounds of food equates to 25 million meals* to help individuals and families struggling with hunger.

According to Feeding America, 1 in 6 people in the United States struggle with hunger despite the fact that there is enough food to feed everyone in need. As hunger exists in each community across the country, BJ’s looked to expand its partnership with Feeding America and their network of food banks and member agencies.
