June 19, 2013 /3BL Media/ - Bombardier announced today that it has been recognized as a worldwide sustainability leader, as well as a top performer in Canada, with three distinctions highlighting the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Bombardier has entered in the Euronext Vigeo World 120 index, a sustainability index launched in November 2012 by NYSE Euronext, the world’s largest exchange group, and Vigeo, the leading European expert in responsible performance, to promote and support responsible investment. The Euronext Vigeo World 120 index represents the top 120 companies, highlighting universal leaders in corporate responsibility, and is based on an underlying universe of listed companies in North America, Asia-Pacific and Europe belonging to the world 2000 largest capitalizations as rated by Vigeo and based on referential stock market indices.
