CEMEX is supplying a broad range of approximately 70,000 cubic meters of specialty concretes, including its decorative white cement, for the new Blue project, private community of 300 apartments in six towers in northern Tel Aviv. Designed and furnished by world-renowned architect Ilan Pivko, the Blue project’s particular attributes are already drawing celebrity tenants from the sports and entertainment worlds.

Inspired by their prime location and sparkling proximity to the sea, each of the complex’s six towers features a grand entrance hall, high ceilings, and glass windows from top to bottom, designed to bring nature inside. The whole project is decorated with ecological pools, decks, landscaping, and decorative features of the highest standard, many of which are made of CEMEX white concrete. Residents will further enjoy country-club amenities, including a semi-Olympic roofed swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, tennis courts, a spa and treatment rooms, an external pool and a hall for private events.

CEMEX facilities in Israel worked together to offer unique solutions, using special concrete mixes to meet the wide combinations of particular concretes and fibers needed for such varied applications as underground parking floors, water reservoirs, finished floors, and reinforced ceilings. The versatility of the company’s white concrete is also widely on display in this project: cast into beams and even whole ceilings, as well as in all of the outside landscaping features.
