Chrysler’s Ram Truck brand has donated 20 RAM 1500 Tradesman trucks and $100,000 to the American Red Cross to assist in Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. The trucks will provide transportation for the Red Cross to help New Jersey and New York families and communities, and will become a permanent addition to the organization’s fleet of vehicles.

Sears and Kmart have sent 100 truckloads of supplies from 42 distribution centers to the East Coast for Hurricane Sandy relief. The equipment includes generators, chainsaws, vacuums, flashlights, batteries, and pumps. The companies will also add $20 worth of Points to the accounts of members of their Shop Your Way Rewards program.

Build-A-Bear Workshop will continue its support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation during National Diabetes Awareness Month with a special effort. Throughout November, Build-A-Bear guests can add $1 or more to their purchase in stores or online to support JDRF. Over the last nine years, the Build-A-Bear Workshop Foundation has donated more than $700,000 to JDRF.
