(3BL Media/Justmeans) - The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE: KO) and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) are working together to extend their global partnership and achieve new environmental sustainability goals for the Coca-Cola system. The performance goals in the area of water, climate, package and sustainable agriculture complement other community and welfare commitments of Coca-Cola.

Coca-Cola and WWF have an existing partnership that goes back nearly a decade. With a renewed commitment and expanded goals, the partnership will now strive to meet new conservation targets, promote the integration of nature's value into decision making, and bring together influential partners to address shared global environmental challenges.

The new 2020 sustainability goals for Coca-Cola and its nearly 300 bottling partners in over 200 countries include improving water efficiency by 25 percent. The company will improve its water usage efficiency per liter of product across the Coca-Cola system.
