Goldcorp's San Martin Mine in Honduras is an example of responsible, sustainable development at each stage of the mining life cycle, including closure and reclamation. Following the closure of the mine, 1,500 hectares around the mine camp were donated by Goldcorp to the San Martin Foundation.  Today, ecotourism and farming take place on the former mine site, providing functioning ecosystems and sustainable jobs to the people of the Valle de Siria. Goldcorp's legacy of sustainable prosperity provides social and economic benefits to area residents that outlive the mine-life of our operations. http://www.goldcorp.com/corporate_responsibility/
