Honeywell Donates $600,000 for Hurricane Sandy Relief; First-ever Civic 50 List Includes 19 3BL Media Clients - CSR Minute for November 12, 2012

Honeywell is donating $600,000 worth of first responder products for Hurricane Sandy relief and recovery efforts. Honeywell makes Morning Pride protective equipment, and will donate more than 19,000 personal protective products including footwear, gloves, hoods, and helmets to first responders in New York and New Jersey.
The inaugural Civic 50 list, a ranking of the country’s most community-minded S&P corporations, has been announced. The Civic 50 surveys and tracks S&P 500 corporations on how they engage with the communities they serve and how practices are institutionalized in their corporate culture. 3BL Media clients on the list include AT&T, Capital One, Campbell Soup, General Electric, FedEx, Allstate, Microsoft, Bank of America, Intel, Abbott, Southwestern Airlines, PG&E, Viacom, HP, Hershey, ConAgra Foods, Discovery Communications, Adobe Systems, and Verizon. The Civic 50 is a partnership among Bloomberg, NCoC, and Points of Light.
