Nicole Griffith received the first Ernst and Young Mentor of the Year Award at the second annual Mentor’s Champions Golf Challenge held Sunday, Sept. 9 at Friar’s Head Golf Club in Riverhead, L.I.

The 38-year-old Rego Park resident, who has been working at Ernst and Young LLP for 11 months, is assistant director and lead recruiter for the firm’s Financial Services Division in Manhattan.

Griffith received the award in recognition of her long-standing commitment to youth mentoring through the firm’s iMentor program.
