SOMERSET, Penn., July 17, 2013 /3BL Media/ – The Maytag® brand and Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) announced today that Heidi Deihl has been named a “2013 Maytag Dependable Leader” in acknowledgment  for her dedication to keeping youth on the path to achieving great futures. The Maytag Dependable Leader Award recognizes club professionals and volunteers who are committed to making a difference in the lives of youth by being dependable and exceptional role models.

Heidi Deihl was selected as one of 25 recipients to receive the distinction and a $20,000 financial award to help further extend her respective focus with the Boys & Girls Club of Somerset County. Deihl intends to use the one-time grant to support the clubs food program and Healthy Lifestyles programming.

“Heidi Deihl is truly a dependable leader who selflessly gives her time and efforts to the Boys & Girls Club of Somerset County, and we are proud to see her recognized with this incredible award from Maytag,” said Gina McNulty, Program Coordinator. “Through the Maytag Dependable Leader Award, Heidi Diehl will continue making a positive impact in our community and build upon our reach.
