Cargill | Nourishing the World

The challenge is clear: we need to sustainably nourish a global population that will grow from 7 billion today to more than 9 billion people by 2050. Cargill knows agriculture can meet the rising demand. The world’s farmers are resilient entrepreneurs who are increasingly doing more with less. We focus on increasing agricultural productivity and improving access to safe, affordable, nutritious food.

Cargill plays a central role in shaping a healthier future as we work to meet consumer needs. We recognize that diet and health are linked and we take seriously our role in tackling the critical problems of malnutrition in high- and low-income countries alike. We balance the driving influences of science and food values as we navigate today’s complex food system from field to table.
