The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Disaster Preparedness, Response, and Recovery Issue Network is committed to improving the efficacy of business philanthropy in disasters, breaking down information and coordination barriers between sectors, and highlighting the unique work of corporate citizens in the field. The businesses in this Network are committed to expanding individual and business preparedness, providing skills and resources for a robust response, and ensuring that long-term recovery is given due consideration in the disaster management cycle.

Resilience in a Box – Resources and Tools for Business Resilience & Preparedness
Developed in partnership with The UPS Foundation, the World Economic Forum (WEF), and the Disaster Resistant Business (DRB) Toolkit Workgroup, Resilience in a Box is based on best practices and designed to educate newcomers on business resilience. These resources will guide companies toward addressing preparedness issues while building in flexibility to handle potential business interruptions.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, in partnership with Johnson Controls, Inc., today released the Safety and Security Quick Guides, an online platform to educate communities, business owners, and chambers of commerce on steps they can take to ensure a safe, crime-free work environment.

“We understand that the success of a business depends on its safety and resilience, and in turn, how important a role businesses play in promoting health and vitality in their communities,” said Marc DeCourcey, senior vice president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. “The Safety and Security Quick Guides will help businesses of all sizes protect their assets and employees.”
