Sanofi Espoir Foundation
The Sanofi Espoir Corporate Foundation was created in October 2010 by Sanofi to leverage more than 15 years of commitment to international solidarity.
It is dedicated to helping reduce healthcare inequalities, particularly among the world’s most needy communities, as part of its social responsibility agenda.
Its actions revolve around three major objectives: controlling childhood cancer, fighting against maternal and child mortality, and ensuring access to healthcare for the world’s poorest populations.
To reinforce employees’ commitment, the Sanofi Espoir Foundation set up several devices :
- "Be a Volunteer" : A platform dedicated to volunteering where Sanofi employees and retirees can find opportunities for volunteerism.
- The Season of Solidarity: An annual and international event dedicated to solidarity, giving employees an opportunity to meet partner associations to organize solidarity activities for their benefit.
- Solidarity loan: Launched for the first time in 2013, in France, the Foundation decided to offer employees not to provide expertise, time or financial donation, but to become familiar with social entrepreneurship and solidarity loan through a developed Babyloan and Entrepreneurs du Monde platform.
