Supporting community needs is an essential part of the ING U.S. culture from employee involvement in nationwide events like National Volunteer Week to local activities like building Habitat for Humanity homes or serving meals at a soup kitchen. Through time, talent and funds, ING U.S. employees are making life easier for others in their communities and helping people achieve their full potential.
Voya’s corporate responsibility employee engagement programs encourage and support involvement with nonprofit organizations. The Volunteer Time Away program allows employees to take up to 40 hours of paid time off to volunteer in the community. Through the Matching Gifts program, the ING Foundation will match 100% of employees’ personal donations, and employees who volunteer up to 50 hours of their personal time are eligible to receive a $500 grant to donate to a charity of their choice.
