The 2014 North American Indigenous Games are taking place in Regina, Sask. this week, July 20 - 27. The theme for this year's event is "Raising the Bar." The event will showcase unity, sport, culture, youth, volunteerism and team work between First Nations, Metis and Non-Indigenous communities by recognizing the healthy lifestyle choices young Indigenous people and future leaders from all over North America have made.

Athletes and teams from 21 regions in North America's Indigenous communities will compete in the North American Indigenous Games (NAIG). The participating teams include 13 Canadian provinces and territories and 8 regions throughout the U.S.A. Each region is comprised of 3 to 5 states...
