Singer Shares 'Sound of an AIDS Free Generation'

Last week Coca-Cola, (RED) and the fundraising platform Omaze announced that a remarkable line-up of artists, including Bono, OneRepublic, Deadmau5, Wyclef Jean, Avicii, Aloe Blacc, and the legendary rock band Queen will release new songs and offer one-of-a-kind experiences as part of “SHARE THE SOUND OF AN AIDS FREE GENERATION” - a month long global campaign.

Leading the charge this week following the campaign’s successful launch is Aloe Blacc and his original song “Together.”  The song is available for download on iTunes with proceeds benefitting the Global Fund at www.iTunes.com/REDSound.  Aloe is also giving fans the chance to win autographed items, as well as a once-in-a-lifetime chance to visit with him at his recording studio.  To make a donation and enter to win, fans can visit Omaze.com/CokeRED

Speaking to the purpose behind the campaign, Blacc recently said, “I think it’s really important people realize that AIDS is still a problem around the world but if we join together, we can be the generation to see the end of AIDS become a reality.”

Throughout the month of November, exclusive content and experiences from the participating artists will continue to roll out each Monday.  Blacc hopes his fans will “rally behind this incredible cause, spread the word and donate to Omaze.com/CokeRED to support an AIDS free generation!”
