October 13, 2017 /3BL Media/ - For the third consecutive year, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has named Arrow Electronics a “Gold Leader” in its Environmental Leadership Program. The annual awards recognize Colorado organizations with gold, silver and bronze designations for voluntarily going beyond compliance with state and federal regulations and for their commitment to continual environmental improvements.

“Arrow is committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly business practices in our hundreds of offices, facilities and warehouses around the world, including those right here in our home state of Colorado. In fact, a growing part of our business is dedicated to finding new life for old electronics and helping to minimize e-waste,” said Joe Verrengia, global director of Arrow’s Corporate Social Responsibility program. “It’s an honor to receive this Gold Leader designation from the Colorado Environmental Leadership Program.”

Arrow was recognized, along with 166 other Colorado-based companies and organizations at an awards ceremony last week, for environmental achievements that help keep Colorado a desirable place to live and work.
