One of the hallmarks of a strategic CSR program is aligning your program with your business values. We know that businesses are most effective when they have thoughtful strategies in place that keep them focused and moving toward the right growth targets. The same is true for corporate giving strategies. It isn’t enough to say you want to do good work—you’ve got to do the right kind of good work, and you’ve got to do it right. Building a CSR or corporate citizenship program that is aligned with your company’s values and mission will help you be more effective in positioning your program to have a greater impact.
