​Corporations React to Mississippi Religious Freedom Law: Bad For Business

The clip of comedian Ellen DeGeneres opening her TV show talking about the Religious Freedom bill known as H.B. 1523, which Mississippi governor recently sanctioned, has gone viral - and for a good reason, too. The new law basically allows denying services to people on the basis of sexual orientation without risking discrimination suits. DeGeneres rightly pointed out this is not a political issue, but a human rights issue. Societies should be moving forward with rights, not backwards.
