Washington, D.C., March 22, 2016 /3BL Media/ - Daniel Elliot, Key Client Manager at PYXERA Global, led a presentation that enabled participants to understand the business value in pro bono at the 4th Global Pro Bono Summit 2016, held in Singapore this past week. Elliott partnered with Yoann Kassi-Vivier, Co-Founder of Pro Bono Lab, who facilitated a workshop enabling participants to gain firsthand experience pitching stakeholders the value of pro bono.

“Articulating and persuasively presenting the business benefit of pro bono to stakeholders is vital,” said Elliot. “Recognizing the business value in pro bono allows programs to gain support from inside the business in multiple areas. Reaching these stakeholders takes an understanding of who your stakeholders are and knowledge of their strategic goals.”

Hosted by the Taproot Foundation and BMW Foundation, the Summit is known to bring together pro bono fellows and corporate practitioners to learn from experts in pro bono programs, strategies, and implementation. The Summit draws pro bono leaders from more than 23 countries who aim to increase their pro bono impact, share challenges, and learn from best practices.

Elliot and Kassi-Vivier’s workshop left participants with a process to recognize their stakeholders’ strategic needs in order to better align pro bono programs to business strategy and increase mutual benefit.
