Washington, DC, October 17, 2016 /3BL Media/ - Global pro bono accelerates development of an employee’s global competencies and his or her ability to lead a global team. Daniel Elliott, Key Client Manager at PYXERA Global, led a presentation on the benefits of global pro bono at the 2016 European Pro Bono Summit, October 12, in Paris.

“Expanding pro bono beyond a domestic geography enables participants to develop global competencies needed to be a successful leader in a global market,” said Elliott. “Pro bono offers an immersive, accelerated experience that benefits participants, companies, and local clients.”

Mr. Elliott partnered with Antoine Colonna d'Istria, Director of International Relations, Pro Bono Lab, to present, explain, and discuss what global pro bono is and the increased benefits from traditional domestic pro bono.

At the Summit individuals and organizations discussed how to engage more corporations and public leaders in pro bono, enable these stakeholders to become a pro bono advocate, and shared best practices.

“People and organizations from the civil society have become key partners for public institutions in co-creating the greater good. Pro bono intermediaries strengthen civil society organizations, connect and mobilize individuals to solve the most pressing societal challenges,” according to the European Pro Bono Summit.
