Financial Times. The UK’s Serious Fraud Office has secured its first convictions against individuals accused of breaching the Bribery Act, which overhauled Britain's antiquated corruption legislation three years ago.


The FCPA in 2014: a record fine, little legal change

The Wall Street Journal. U.S. authorities scored a record-breaking fine as they enforced the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act this year, but lawyers said they didn’t see much of the ballyhooed targeting of individuals in bribery cases.

Bloomberg BNA. The European Commission is soliciting input through March 16, 2015, on the allocation and use of some of the carbon allowances that will be made available to participants in the European Union's emissions trading system after 2020.

Human Rights Watch. The World Bank’s internal watchdog should investigate whether bank projects are contributing to forced labor in Uzbekistan, the Cotton Campaign said today.
