August 3, 2016 /3BL Media/ - Eastman Chemical Company today announced the release of its 2016 sustainability report, Leadership. Innovation. Impact. Covering empirical data through 2015 and highlights through early 2016, the report continues to provide a review of the company’s progress against its sustainability strategy and goals and is compliant with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines.

“At Eastman, sustainability is about creating value, and by its very nature, sustainability is a process of continual improvement and learning,” said David A. Golden, senior vice president, chief legal & sustainability officer, and corporate secretary. “There is no end point to the journey. Eastman’s report is available in a fully interactive online format and has an option to “build your own report” for customized downloading and printing.  Highlights include increased focus on innovation, including examples where sustainability and innovation intersect; continued focus on environmental stewardship and improvement, including energy efficiency, water and climate change; and strengthened collaborations to drive positive change through Eastman’s corporate responsibility efforts.
