Final Harvest of Timberland's Victory Garden

Friday October 2nd was the final vegetable harvest from the Victory Garden, Timberland’s community garden at its headquarters in Stratham, NH. The front lawn of the building is home to several garden beds, totaling over 1900 square feet of garden space and is managed by a committee that consists of approximately 25 Timberland employees. All produce harvested is weighed and brought into the building where Timberland employees can purchase it for a donation, and all money raised is donated to the NH Food Bank in Manchester, NH. Timberland was also able to raise $2,500 this year from the garden’s produce. Victory Garden’s last harvest yielded several types of produce including:  

·         Sunflower heads

·         Beet Greens

·         Beets

·         Red and Green Tomatoes

·         Kale

·         Bok Choy

·         Peppers

·         Eggplant

·         Cut Flowers
