Freeport-McMoRan Funds Women and Children Shelter in Arizona

The Freeport-McMoRan Foundation provided a $60,000 grant to the Bisbee Coalition for the Homeless for a new women and children annex at the Tintown Shelter in Bisbee, Arizona.

The addition of the annex will more than double the shelter’s capacity and will allow the shelter to open its doors to women and children.

The annex was funded by an $89,000 grant from the Lowe’s Foundation and a $60,000 grant from the Freeport-McMoRan Foundation. An additional $7,000 was raised by local attorney Ann Carl.
