September 11, 2014 /3BL Media/ - H&M has been included to the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Index World for the third consecutive year. The index lists the most sustainable companies based on an extensive annual assessment conducted by independent asset managers from the investment specialist RobecoSAM.

"We are proud to be included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the third year in a row. It is a great recognition of H&M's sustainability engagement and the hard work we do every day," says Helena Helmersson, Head of Sustainability at H&M.

Launched in 1999, the DJSI World is the first global index to track the financial performance of the leading sustainability-driven companies based on financially material economic, environmental, and social factors. The index serves as benchmark for investors who integrate sustainability considerations into their portfolios, and provide an effective engagement platform for companies who want to adopt sustainable best practices.
