Safeway is making a call to action for employees and customers with its Heart of Safeway pledge program. Participants are asked to select options to take everyday steps for better health, such as eating healthier foods or walking 15 minutes a day three times a week, to benefit pledge-takers and their communities.

Foresee, a provider of customer experience analytics, has released its annual healthcare satisfaction benchmark. The report outlines the strong link between customer satisfaction and its impact on future behaviors for healthcare customers and patients. Using a technology-driven methodology, Foresee’s research evaluated 100,000 survey responses from health information, hospital and health systems, and health insurance website visitors. A key finding: public health information sites outperform the private sector in customer satisfaction.
