A new health policy paper published in The Lancet medical journal concludes that U.S. and U.K. healthcare policy managers should learn from each other. The article, “Health Care Reforms in the USA and England: Areas for Useful Learning,” noted that both countries are under pressure to get more value out of health care spending and to reduce growth in costs. It also found that both are experimenting with new ways to achieve those goals. The article was co-authored by health care policy experts from both countries.

One hundred volunteers from Aramark have established an Aramark Building Community Opportunity Zone for nutrition and wellness at The Salvation Army Community Center in Glendale, California. The new resource will provide underserved individuals and families with healthy food and educational programs. The facility is currently serving 200 percent more people with individual grocery orders than it was five years ago.
