In a few days, millions of people will observe 9/11 by performing good deeds and engaging in all kinds of service activities that help others. Here’s how your nonprofit organization can capture this enthusiasm and engage new supporters.

9/11 Skills Service Day.  This year, for the first time, Taproot Foundation and 911 Day are organizing a nationwide 9/11 Skills Service Day.  We’ll be matching up professionals who want to donate their business talents with the projects that nonprofits, like yours, post  on Taproot+, Taproot’s online service that connects nonprofit organizations to a curated group of skilled professionals in marketing, IT, finance, HR, and strategy management.

It takes 15 minutes. Engage in 9/11 this year by posting a project need on Taproot+ before 9/11.  This way, your project is there in time for the influx of skilled volunteers looking to give their time and talent to organizations just like yours. The platform is free!

Sample projects include:

  • Graphic design for annual report
  • Salesforce training for your team
  • Creating a resource page for your website
  • QuickBooks coaching and report set-up

To add a project or learn more, visit Taproot+.  This is your chance to engage with skilled volunteers who are raising their hand to offer their talent and expertise—pro bono--as their commitment to honor 9/11.
