Home to more than 2.8 million residents, New York's Long Island is one of the most densely populated regions in the United States. AECOM was selected as the lead consultant to the consortium of Long Island counties, towns, and organizations working to create a more-sustainable future on the island by addressing the impacts of energy use and greenhouse gas emissions at the front end of regional-planning efforts.

Facing setbacks from Superstorm Sandy, the second part of AECOM's video series details how Superstorm Sandy impacted the progress of the Cleaner Greener Long Island Regional Sustainability plan as well as the solutions to get back on track.
