Campaign: Why DSI

International Students Information Session

Welcome to our international information session, wherever you are in the world. We have a tradition to post, after our New York reception, an online welcome of sorts to all our international applicants. In this film, you’ll find an overview of the program, and answers to the questions we are most often asked, from our first and second year students. We’ve tried to cover the main languages spoken by our cohorts. If you don’t find the answer among these that you were looking for, please make sure to email and ask us. DSI students have come from twenty-four countries, and we look forward to welcoming students from those and more. The diversity of cultures represented here, and the learning that comes from having cultures from around the world come to New York to solve the world’s big challenges together is unlike any other educational experience. So take a look at the film, and then APPLY. Our first review of applications is January 15th.

In the film, you’ll hear from program Chair Cheryl Heller, followed by DSI students Hind Alessa (Saudi Arabia), Nada Azem (Syria), Nazlı Cangönül (Turkey), Barbara Fang (China), Rodrigo Muñoz (Ecuador), David Rojas (Colombia), and Wen Tang (China).
