It Pays to Volunteer When You Work for MGM Resorts International

MGM Resorts employee volunteer hours can mean in-kind or cash donations to nonprofits of their choice

In 2014, MGM Resorts employees logged 172,316 volunteer hours – the equivalent of 4,307 full-time jobs - with 850 agencies. Our employees volunteered throughout their communities in a variety of ways, including feeding the homeless in shelters, packing lunches at Ronald McDonald House and helping The Animal Foundation with pet adoptions. When employees log 100 volunteer hours, the company awards them with a $200 cash or in-kind donation, which they give to the nonprofit organization of their choice. When an MGM Resorts employee reaches 500 volunteer service hours, they are given $750 to donate to any nonprofit they select. This is all part of MGM Resorts International’s commitment to the communities in which we operate.
