On September 11, more than 100 JetBlue crewmembers gathered to help build a playground with KaBOOM! in Canarsie, Brooklyn. The playground build at Canarsie Ascend Charter School wass one of many 9/11 Day of Service activities taking place across JetBlue’s network to honor the 15th anniversary of 9/11. After a moment of silence in tribute to those who lost their lives and who died in service to these tragic events, crewmembers joined local officials for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Through JetBlue’s long-standing partnership with KaBOOM!, the airline’s crewmembers have built 25 play spaces where children can run, jump, climb, and thrive in our communities.
