JustGreen Offsets 2014 Dream in Green Annual Fundraiser

JustGreen was the proud official carbon offset sponsor for Dream in Green's 2014 Annual Fundraiser, 'Setting the Standard" recently held at the Standard Hotel in Miami Beach. The carbon neutral event celebrated DIG’s eight years of building a greener world. Over 150 guests bid on silent auction items and enjoyed a green fashion show during a cocktail reception held at The Standard dockside under the stars. Guests were also encouraged to offset their travel to and from the event with offsets from JustGreen.

As part of JustGreen's partnership with Dream In Green, JustGreen has donated carbon credits to offset the greenhouse gas emissions associated with the operations of Dream in Green’s headquarters in Miami, Florida as well as all of their workshops, events and the upcoming winner of the Green School’s Challenge. The offset donation is equivalent to planting approximately 25,000 trees and taking over 200 passenger cars off the road for one year (Calculations from EPA’s Clean Energy Calculator).
