Receiving the award for KFC from comedian Gyles Brandreth and Great Place to Work CEO Tom O'Byrne were Jennie Haxton, Coral Bunce and Francesca Hedges.

For the fifth consecutive year, KFC UK and Ireland has been named a Great Place to Work® (GPTW).  KFC ranked 23rd among the large (500+) businesses recognized in 2014 and is the second-highest ranking retailer. As a result of making the list five years in a row, KFC also earned a Laureate Award at the GPTW awards celebration in London May 20.

"The Laureate Award is a huge achievement and really important to us as it recognizes that our culture isn't a fluke or a flash in the pan, it's something that we maintain month after month, year after year, which is the definition of dynasty-like performance," said James Watts, Vice President, Human Resources, KFC UKI.

Watts said the GPTW recognition is especially noteworthy because it's based primarily on feedback from the brand's 24,000 team members across the U.K. For 2014, KFC's engagement scores in the survey increased by nine points for RGMs and three points for team members.
