Kris Bryant & Bryce Harper to Co-Host Annual Golf Tournament to Benefit Las Vegas Charities and Others
Activities also include MGM Grand Poker Tournament to benefit the Players Trust
October 27, 2015 /3BL Media/ - Major Leaguers and Las Vegas natives, Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs and Bryce Harper of the Washington Nationals, will serve as co-hosts of the 12th annual Players Trust fund-raising golf tournament at prestigious Cascata on Thursday, January 14, 2016, when more than 30 current and former Major Leaguers visit the area to attend the Players Trust’s annual board meeting.
In addition to a day of fun on the course at Cascata, MGM Grand Hotel and Casino will host its second annual poker tournament to benefit the Players Trust on Wednesday evening, January 13. James Loney captured last year’s inaugural poker tournament and the Tampa Bay Rays first baseman is scheduled to defend his crown in January.
Scheduled to join Kris and Bryce on the course in Vegas are Hall of Famers Eddie Murray, Frank Robinson and Dave Winfield, as well as current and former big leaguers Marlon Anderson, Adrian Beltre, Bobby Bonilla, Chris Capuano, Royce Clayton, Dexter Fowler, Nick Hundley, Jacque Jones, Kenny Lofton, Bud Norris, Hector Santiago, Chasen Shreve, Shane Victorino and Brad Ziegler, to name a few.
Players Trust fund-raising events promise sponsors, their guests and all attendees, unprecedented levels of player access during our memorable hospitality events, including cocktail receptions and meals. Proceeds from the events will benefit local Las Vegas area charities personally selected by the co-hosts as well as other charitable organizations to be determined by the Players Trust.
