Booz Allen Hamilton Executive Vice President Kristine Martin Anderson has been honored by Health Data Management as one of the 2016 Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT, in the Thought Leader category. Anderson leads Booz Allen’s Civil Health Business, spearheading the firm’s work on behalf of Federal clients national quality initiatives, performance measurement strategies, health IT operations and payment reform.  She has led the firm’s efforts to help advance health care reform goals with the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Veterans Affairs. She has served as a member and co-chair of a number of highly visible National Quality Forum committees, a board member for the National eHealth Collaborative and the eHealth Collaborative, a member of the HIMSS Quality Committee and a member of the Quality and Safety Committee of the Board for Mercy Health System in St. Louis, MO.

Prior to Booz Allen, Kristine was VP of Operations and Strategy at CareScience, a software company she helped to launch.  At CareScience in the 1990’s, Kristine led the development and launch of one of the first web-based systems to assess and improve healthcare quality in addition to the launch of the nation’s first community-based health information exchanges.
