This is the LAST week to nominate a company to win a 2016 Corporate Citizenship Award. If you know of a top-notch corporate citizenship initiative or program, don't miss the June 30 deadline to submit an application!

The Corporate Citizenship Awards honor excellence in corporate citizenship. Over the past 17 years, some of the most accomplished social and community initiatives within the business sector have been recognized through the Citizens Awards. With media partner The Wall Street Journal, the 2016 winners will be announced at the Citizens Awards Gala on November 17 at the conclusion of the annual conference.

This year, we'll honor companies for their work in eight categories:

  • Best Commitment to Education Program
  • Best Community Improvement Program
  • Best Disaster Response and Resilience Program
  • Best Economic Empowerment Program
  • Best Environmental Stewardship
  • Best Health and Wellness Program
  • Best Corporate Steward, Small and Middle-Market Business
  • Best Corporate Steward, Large Business

In a recent interview, two-time Citizens Award winner Walmart shared how to choose an initiative to nominate and how to create a winning application.
