Harry Pastuzek, Vice President, Enterprise & Community Development at PYXERA Global, will moderate a plenary panel called Strengthen a social license to operate through early & meaningful stakeholder engagement at the 2016 Responsible Extractives Summit in London.

“Engaging stakeholders early on is vital to a successful project,” said Mr. Pastuzek. “Having buy-in internally and externally helps to increase stakeholder engagement, address concerns, and ultimately provide the most support for the project.”

The panel will showcase regional case studies about how to implement effective engagement strategies with indigenous communities in the mining industry. The discussion will teach attendees how to manage community expectations and keep good-will.
