MGM National Harbor President Honored As Minority Business Leader

The Washington Business Journal selected Lorenzo Creighton of MGM National Harbor as one of the members of the 2016 class of Minority Business Leader Award honorees.

Lorenzo Creighton doesn’t just lead. He makes history. Creighton has had a major hand in the gaming industry since the early 1990s. He wrote the regulations that launched Iowa’s riverboat gambling industry — the first major gaming sector outside of Nevada and Atlantic City. He was the first African-American to head up a casino-resort on the Las Vegas strip. And today he is at the forefront of the Washington area’s largest single economic development endeavor: the $1.3 billion MGM National Harbor.
