September 17, 2014 /3BL Media/ - At today’s annual assembly of the German Branded Goods Association, Marijke Mars addressed a keynote that focused on the entire spectrum of this year's theme "Brands mean freedom of choice! Superior brands – confident consumers".

Fitting to this year’s focus theme, Marijke choose the title “Doing Good is Good for brands – Because the freedom of choice can also be the freedom to make a difference”. She talked about the role of the family values and how that transcends over to the brands – highlighting Mars’ Doing-Good Marketing program and using some of the brand campaigns as example. The conference took place in Berlin with an audience of 500 the majority of senior leaders managing FMCG companies in Germany were present, as well as many NGOs and political stakeholders.
