NAEM to Present Results from Software Buyers Guide Research

March 17, 2015 /3BL Media/ - On March 26 at 1:00 p.m. NAEM will present selected findings from “The EHS and Sustainability Buyers Guide” the association’s latest benchmark for software buyers.  The web presentation will be free of charge to the public thanks to the financial support of report sponsors Dakota Software, Enablon, KMI and ProcessMap.

The 46-page report, which includes data from 165 in-house EHS and sustainability leaders, provides a detailed analysis of the needs of first-time buyers compared to those who are replacing an existing software system, as well as comparisons between buyers and past purchasers. The budgeting analyses, for example, allow shoppers to compare their expected spending against what their peers plan to spend and against the actual amount spent by those who recently purchased a system.

NAEM’s Executive Director Carol Singer Neuvelt said the results were designed to provide robust benchmarking data for those who are embarking on the software selection process. NAEM will further evolve its software benchmarking program with new research offerings this year, she added.

The buyer’s guide will be available for download on NAEM’s website Wednesday, March 25. To learn more about the initiative or to register for the webinar, please visit: http://www.naem.org/?wbnr_2015_resehsmis.
