A New Publication for a Brighter World

Launched earlier this year, The New Global Citizen chronicles the stories, strategies, and impact of innovative leadership and international engagement around the world. The articles published seek to capture the ground-level impact of individuals and organizations crossing borders and cultural boundaries to create shared value and understanding. With a diverse group of contributors, The New Global Citizen provides an avenue through which beneficiaries and implementers alike can showcase their impact, while always seeking to highlight the unique perspectives of the private, public, and social sectors, especially in a collaborative context.

According to the Managing Editor, Alicia Bonner Ness, “The New Global Citizen seeks to bring to life the ground-level impact of effective solutions and innovative practices, while also creating a forum for leaders and influencers to share their opinions and experience about what works and what does not.”

The magazine, which welcomes submissions from individuals, corporations, and other organizations engaged in this work, publishes content under five categories: leadership, impact and innovation, citizen diplomacy, enterprise development, and global pro bono. Content includes stories of impact, strategic thought leadership or opinion pieces, photo essays, interviews, and more.

Today’s transformed and increasingly interconnected world has spurred a revolution in our global culture, reinforcing collaborative approaches to addressing complex challenges. With its approach, The New Global Citizen elevates the way in which individuals, corporations, and others are championing a better future for our world.

“In a world filled with endless negative press, The New Global Citizen creates a forum focused on ‘bright spots’ of collaboration, innovation and exchange around the globe,” says Ness.
